PS Dr. Ronoh Leads Ministry in 21st Annual Performance Evaluation for 2024/2025

Today, the Principal Secretary for Agriculture, Dr. Kipronoh Ronoh Paul, CBS, chaired the 21st Cycle Annual Performance Evaluation for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and its agencies for the 2024/2025 financial year. The session underscored that the Ministry and its agencies are performing exceptionally well in delivering on their mandates. The evaluation was recognized as a vital accountability framework—measuring progress, strengthening institutional efficiency, and ensuring alignment with Kenya’s national development priorities. In attendance were representatives from the Public Service Commission and officers from both State Departments, led by Director of Planning, Dr. Hesbon Otinga. Their presence highlighted the collaborative nature of the exercise and reinforced the values of transparency, shared responsibility, and collective commitment to advancing Kenya’s agricultural and livestock sectors. Stakeholders emphasized that such evaluations are indispensable in identifying strengths, addressing gaps, and fostering innovation. The process was acknowledged as critical in enhancing food security, empowering farmers, safeguarding livelihoods, and driving sustainable socio-economic growth across the country.
