Agriculture and Livestock Development Cabinet Secretary (CS) Sen Mutani Kagwe has this afternoon held discussions with Kilimo Trust CEO Dr. Birungi Korutaro, on areas of mutual interest.
Kilimo Trust is a non-profit organization working on agriculture for development across the East Africa community – in Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. Established in 2005, Kilimo Trust is a go-to implementing partner for inclusive and sustainable market-led agricultural value chain development in the region.
The two agreed to work together to bring the competencies of the two institutions, and their partners in addressing the pressing challenges of modern agriculture in a climate-change constrained world.
