Dr. Karanja praised the recent growth in horticultural exports, which have improved foreign exchange, food security, employment, and supply to the processing industry.
The Cabinet Secretary also reiterated the Government’s initiatives to strengthen the sector, including improved infrastructure, tax-free imports of select inputs, reduced primary exports & subsidized fertilizers.
