Our investment in agriculture is significantly enhancing the productivity of key food and cash crops. We will continuously increase our support for farmers and broaden markets for their products, ensuring they earn higher incomes in order to improve livelihoods.
Earlier today the principal secretary state department for Agriculture Dr Kipronoh Ronoh Paul, CBS attended National Farmers’ Day Celebrations dubbed “Transforming agriculture : from seeds to food and Nutrition security for a secure tomorrow,” Eldoret ASK grounds, Uasin Gishu County.
This special event underscores the hard work and dedication of farmers who are the backbone of our nation’s economy and food security. We honour their invaluable contributions to Kenya’s growth and prosperity.
He reiterated the numerous support the Government has given to farmers and how it’s helped farmers to also contribute immensely to the growth of our economy.
On his remarkable speech PS emphasized that the event was a reminder of their sacrifices and vital role in sustaining our community. Let us continue to support and empower them for a brighter and more progressive future in agriculture.
