PS for Livestock, Harry Kimtai today opened a two days workshop to sensitize 47 county focal persons to lead in collection of data for development of Livestock Master Plan (LMP). While addressing the officers at Sawela Lodge in Naivasha, Kimtai said that Livestock sector is faced with challenges that hinders its growth and therefore the role of Livestock Master Plan (LMP) will guide and attract more and better targeted Livestock sector from private sector investments. The development of the Livestock Master Plan is being sponsored by Kenya Markets Trust, AU_IBAR, ILRI, USAID, FAO, IFAD, World Bank, European Union and among others.
