Five solar mobile grain dryers in Nakuru National Cereals and Produce Board Depot
The government is determined to increase food production in the country and reduce post-harvest losses through use of modern technology and advanced farming solutions, to achieve food security.

Today, CS Mithika Linturi unveiled five solar mobile grain dryers out of the 100 for our farmers at the Nakuru National Cereals and Produce Board Depot. The mobile grain dryers will be available to farmers at Elburgon, Olenguruone, Subukia, Naivasha and Nakuru NCPB Depots and across the country.
He also flagged off 2,300 bags of subsidized fertilizer that will be distributed to farmers across Nakuru County and it’s environs.
He was flanked by PS State Department for Agriculture, Dr. Paul Rono, County Commissioner Nakuru County, Loyford Kibaara, Deputy Governor Nakuru County, Hon. David Kones and area leaders.
