Today, CS Mithika Linturi presided over the 26th graduation ceremony of the Bukura Agricultural College in Kakamega County that saw 655 graduands successfully completing their Diploma studies in the Agri-food sector which is a boost to the highly needed workforce to contribute to food security in our country and beyond.
Bukura Agricultural College plays a vital role in training and equipping young Kenyans with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to contribute to the growth of the agricultural sector.
CS Linturi appealed to farmers across the country to register in the ongoing registration of farmers to benefit from extension services like distribution of fertilizer subsidies.
He urged the youth to engage in agricultural productivity as the government puts effort in making Kenya food secure.
