Agriculture and Livestock Development CS Dr. Andrew Karanja chaired a meeting on scaling up the Kenya Integrated Agriculture Management Information System (KIAMIS), flanked by the PS State Department for Agriculture Dr. Kipronoh Ronoh .

KIAMIS, a government digital platform, streamlines continuous farmer registration, E-voucher management, E-extension, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the agricultural sector. It ensures accurate targeting of government programs, minimizes fraud, and facilitates efficient distribution of subsidies like fertilizers and seeds.

By centralizing agricultural data, including production statistics and market trends, KIAMIS connects farmers, agribusinesses, and government agencies.
