This morning, a delegation from the Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) paid a courtesy call to the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Dr. Andrew Karanja, at Kilimo House.
The delegation, led by the Chairperson Ms Annabel Kiriinya accompanied by the ASK CEO Batram Muthoka, and the Kisumu branch Chairperson George Ong’udi, engaged the CS in discussions centred on strengthening collaboration between ASK and the Ministry, promoting agricultural exhibitions, and enhancing outreach programs to farmers.
Dr. Karanja commended the ASK for its role in advancing agricultural education and innovation through exhibitions and field days.
They committed to enhance participation in upcoming ASK shows, provide technical support, and develop joint initiatives aimed at promoting modern agricultural practices across the country.
