Today, the Principal secretary state Department for Agriculture Dr Kipronoh Ronoh Paul joined Torsogek Coffee Farmers Cooperative Society in Ainamoi sub county, Kericho county during farmers celebration of achieving Key milestone in Coffee sector.The best Performing cooperative in the county where farmers benefit from kshs 100 coffee Per Kilo.

The meeting brought together coffee farmers, cooperative leaders, and key stakeholders to address the challenges facing the sector.

Speaking during meeting, the Ps reaffirmed the government’s commitment to transforming the coffee industry and improving their livelihoods.

PS emphasized on the crucial role played by the coffee industry in Kenya’s economy and reiterated the Government’s commitment towards driving the coffee reform agenda and putting in place policies and regulations for the coffee sub sector growth.

This aligns with the Government’s broader revolutionizing agriculture to ensure food security, boost exports, and support rural development. #BETAKILIMO #MkulimaKwanza
