Later, the Principal Secretary State Department For Agriculture Dr.Kipronoh Ronoh Paul CBS during his development tour in Kericho visited Tebesonik Tea Factory in BURETI Sub county to address the concerns of tea farmers, emphasizing the importance of involving wananchi in the management of their affairs.This is part of the benchmarking mission as they hinge towards achieving higher production, which will feed into the expanding global market under our strategic focus of economic diplomacy and revitalizing the tea Sub sector. The PS urged all tea farmers to remain committed to maintaining high standards and producing quality tea,as this will ultimately lead to increased returns.
He further noted Ministry is keen to ensure farmers get value for their hard work.
